My Final Project.

Term 5 is finally here which means pre-production on Final Projects. For mine I've decided to make a motion graphic-like music video for my Brother's rap group- Tantalus Behavior. The whole thing is going to be completely ridiculous and over the top, probably offending over half the parents at graduation but I'm hoping it will look amazing.

My idea is to have still photographs of the rappers faces placed in 3D space in after effects in a fully illustrated environment which my buddy Milan who is a talented graphic designer is going to help me design. Then I will mask out the mouths and eyes and feather in real footage synced to the lyrics.

For the most part these two videos are my inspiration and I will be stealing techniques from both of them.

Short film in 13 shots for Cine class. 3minute movie- 12hours on set.

It wasn't bad for a first try, we made a few mistakes but that's how it goes. There are a few things I want to change eventually, at the time we decided to leave out the last scene of her being dragged into the closet but I think we are going to take a shot out from the hallway scene and add in the ending.
