About Me

I made this blog to keep track of my work or things related to my work at VFS. I might also post things that aren't related to film school. Deal with it.

Sugar Walk

So I helped Ryan with his art and creativity project. We filled his backpack up with 10 kgs of sugar and poked a hole in it. I followed him around for about an hour.

My discovery project.

I've had the idea for awhile now but never had the resources to make it. So when I got the chance to do a self-directed project through discovery class I knew I had to make it. We had limitations of equipment(don't get to use shotgun mics until next term) so the sound quality is a bit low. Other then that It turned out pretty good.

I also had to do a small presentation about the process of creating the video, so I figured I would try and be professional and do an interview style presentation

Messin' around with after effects.

Had to make a short 20second animation for after effects class. Seeing I didn't learn much I had to figure stuff out myself, a bit choppy but it turned out alright for a first attempt.

Triumphant Carrot: The Persistence of Still Life- video response

Triumphant Carrot: The Persistence of Still Life- video response from Dustin Shea on Vimeo.

This was a project Ryan and I did for life drawing class. We had to do a video response for a still life exhibit at the CAG, we decided to make our own installation instead. Took us about 6 hours. We used a hot glue gun and fishing line.
